Missie enjoys sharing her knowledge with quilting students and wants to find ways to make the process easy and enjoyable for each person, offering options as she teaches.
In that vein, Missie will be offering the following:Stitch along with Missie. Although far less structured than a “class,” Missie has been inspired by this antique quilt pattern – “Snowflake.” She will be “interpreting” it using her own style. Spend time with Missie watching how her creative mind works and learn her technique of starch basting on freezer paper. Perhaps, try her starch pen and finger stiletto tools. What an opportunity! Missie will be offering kits for this block as cotton on cotton and wool on cotton. Please be sure to click the box at registration as to which kit you would like. Prices on the registration form for the kits are approximate at this time.
Check out Missie’s website www.traditionalprimitives.com to view videos and read her blog.
Another option is to bring your own project to work on – We can’t wait to see all of the creativity and what you have been doing during COVID. This is a GREAT venue and opportunity to ask others for help, perhaps with a design or color concern, and to learn new techniques from each other.
Of course, a combination of the above; spending some time on your own project and some time with Missie would be the The best of both worlds!
